Culinary school, yeah, okay, but, if that was her lifelong dream, why the fuck is she modeling?

There has to be a guy at the end of it or she's somehow a failure What a load of horseshit! Why do female authors so ritualistically do this to their female characters? This is three-strikes-and-you're out for this author who seems to specialize in broken women being fixed by guys. barf.
