That's the killer, right there. Plus there's a tedious trope love triangle and the cover has the sixteen year old dressed in a leather bustier and matching pants. This is a queen's handmaiden.... It's also a trilogy! Anyone want to give odds on whether it's in first person, to complete the perfect cliche? I'd bet it is. Yet more unimaginative YA garbage. Barf.
