Including ending the world? Of course it's the start of a series! What did you expect: a 'series' of unconnected original novels that don't retread the same plots and charcters over and over, and over again? I'm sorry to inform you that we don't live in that world any more. And what are the odds this is in first person? 100% I'd say. Yawn. Move along: there's nothing to see hear or smell.
